Influence of Silicon Dioxide-Titanium Dioxide Antireflective Electrosprayed Coatings on Multicrystalline Silicon Cells

This research work primarily focuses on enhancing the power conversion efficiency (PCE) of polycrystalline silicon solar cells by using a single-layer and double-layered antireflection coating deposited through electrospraying technique. The usage titanium dioxide as materials has shown significant increase in optical electrical properties under open controlled light sources. sample with TiO2 base layer SiO2 top (sample B-IV) exhibited maximum PCE 18.90% direct sunlight 21.19% neodymium setup cell temperatures 40°C 52.1°C, respectively. Sample B-IV also lowest resistivity 3.1 × 10?3 ?·cm among coated samples. Also, an 11.6% transmittance reduction 9.6% reflectance were exerted B-IV. results obtained from different analysis proves that TiO2/SiO2 was appropriate material for cell.
